An energy boost for electric drivers
From charming, fully electric Teslas to cool, hybrid Toyota Priuses; the parking lot at the Media Center is becoming visibly greener.
Add to that the fact that a number of entrepreneurs within the Mediacentrale are committed to bringing a Tesla factory to the Northern Netherlands and we at Waarborg cannot lag behind in the field of electric driving.
In fact, we don't want that either. That's why Waarborg ensures that you can soon 'fill up' electrically at the Mediacentrale.
Electric 'refueling' at the Media Center
On 9 and 10 February we will be installing three charging stations from Stek. Each charging station has two charging points, allowing a total of six electric cars to charge simultaneously. The charging stations will be installed at the side entrance of the building (the entrance next to brasserie WAAR) and are intended for residents and guests of the Mediacentrale who drive an electric or hybrid car.
Plug that plug into a Stek
Stek is an initiative and concept of Green Business Club Twente. Together with the electric drivers of the Mediacentrale we will test the Stek concept in practice in the coming months. In doing so, we will monitor the experiences, the costs and the use of the charging stations.
If the results are positive and there is a clear need for more charging stations, we will quickly install additional Stek charging stations.
Sustainability is an integral part of Waarborg's investment and housing strategy. Installing charging stations is a great next step in this!
